The Central Region Homeland Security Advisory Council recently completed a project that funded the purchase of Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) training equipment that will be available to jurisdictions in the Central Region to utilize for TECC-related trainings.
Based on the military battlefield guidelines of Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC), Tactical Emergency Casualty Care is an evidence-based, civilian-specific medical guideline for high threat operations, established by the Council on TECC.
A list of available training equipment can be found on the Council's website, along with information about requesting and using the equipment. Several public safety professionals in the Central Region helped develop the equipment cache and are an available resource to help design or provide trainings for your community.
