The Amtrak Police and Central Region Homeland Security Advisory Council hosted the Passenger Emergency Response Training this Saturday, June 15, at the Grafton & Upton Rail Yard. It is a two-part classroom and practical, emergency preparedness course for professionals who may respond to a passenger rail emergency. The practical session of this training used Amtrak and MBTA Commuter Rail cars to perform several practical exercises and scenarios. Thank you to all the agencies that donated their time, space, and resources to make this training possible!
